@Megthelibraria1 Loved it, desperately sad exploration of grief and the way past trauma can limit your ability to engage with the world, no matter how urgent is your need for love. And so many memorable images - that empty tower block. Gazing in from outside at a past you can't recover.

The composer Benjamin Britten was born in Lowestoft, Suffolk #OTD 22 November 1913, the feast of St Cecilia, patron saint of music. His memorial window by John Piper in Aldeburgh church shows his three church parables, The Prodigal Son, Curlew River and The Burning Fiery Furnace.
