@UtdHarvey37 If a midfielder can perform consistently at that level, he’d be worth double that amount. That was the only time Pogba performed to that level in a United shirt. Nobody would pay that much money for a one-off performance.
@JacobsBen Xabi Alonso was a better player and leader. Isn’t he enough of an example to the Chelsea midfielders? Or are they really expecting Henderson to contribute on the pitch?? Ridiculous signing, if it materialises.
@JayUnited91 It’s been a good window and not over yet. Academy players should start to emerge too. Apart from Anderson, not bothered about missing out on any of the ‘big’ transfers that have taken place so far.
@NathSalt1 Feels like another piece in the jigsaw. If Amass is seen as a solution at left-back, then United likely to buy a midfielder and a striker and that’s it. Hope our centre halves can stay fit…
@BBCMOTD England has players with a high technical level, but questionable mentality. On the other hand, it has players with lower technical ability with a strong mentality. What it lacks is sufficient players with both qualities.
@volqx That Spanish team would expose most midfielders in world football. Would need to identify a midfielder that excels technically, tactically and physically. I can only think of one standout guy- Rodri…. (Hopefully Santos can be developed the same way)
@EBL2017 Dorgu will probably fill the left-wing role. Amass could fill the left-back role. That leaves extra funds for the midfield and another striker. If Zirkzee goes then there could be a surprise signing with big potential (maybe in attacking midfield to cover Bruno).
@RisingGemsz Lewis-Skelly is my left-field prediction (once Guimares is confirmed at Arsenal). His age and ability to play on the left side would make him a great addition.
@NathSalt1 Very smart business. Two good midfielders that are solid defensively. Tielemans age means that he doesn’t block the pathway for some of the top academy prospects either (especially Thwaites).
@sampeoples_ Solid signing. Should leave £65m in the kitty for a third midfielder. Can’t see Bournemouth or Brighton taking that for Scott/Baleba, so it’s intriguing to see what United do next.
