It’s also now a pandemic of human disappointment. Cancelled trips, art openings, sporting events, book tours, concerts. Things folks have been planning for, working toward, and excited about - that’s a lot of grieving on top of sickness. 🙏🏻
My Uncle in Iran passed away from corona virus. He was gentle and kind. He’d been battling cancer for several years. His family had to stand one hundred meters away and watch him be buried by men in hazmat gear. My Aunt is now sick. Please take this virus seriously.

I am unbelievably confused hearing media saying "the china coronavirus" yes it started there I am aware but is that necessary? A LITTLE HUMANITY WOULD BE GREAT. Because this virus does NOT discriminate...so why do you need to?
I don’t want to add to the anxiety of the situation but I’m genuinely spiraling about the corona virus and I just don’t really know how to process all of this. If ur feeling the same just know it’s ok to be worried right now even if people tell you you’re overreacting.
It’s so weird to me how anyone can “hate” someone because of what they look like. If you don’t like someone’s appearance that’s fine and everything, but remember there’s more to people than just that and that doesn’t define who they are ❤️
