🐯 hello, carats! i’m back again this week. for this week, we’re filming a going seventeen episode where we’re guessing the difference between spicy marinated crab and soy sauce marinated crab. while i’m filming this, i hope you guys are also eating both spicy crab and soy sauce crab, and fried chicken and seasoned chicken too. and things like half-and-half hotpot flavors, spicy broth and white broth. and even jjambbong rice and jajang rice.. basically, i hope you have a week that’s full of these fun half-and-half combinations.
🐯 this week’s theme is half-and-half. so, listen to tiger power, then spider, then stay, and then damage. you know, that kind of vibe where things keep switching up and surprising you. i hope you have a week full of those little twists and contrasts. hmm! i think i’m really going to miss seeing my left-side face, my lower-angle face, my right-side face, and my face from above seeing all of you, a lot.

Kenapa di Indonesia gaada sleeper train, padahal di Thailand dan Vietnam ada?

Jawaban singkatnya: biar ga dibuat mesum 😂

Jadi sebenarnya Indonesia pernah punya sleeper train alias kereta tidur pada era 1960an hingga 1990an. Contohnya KA Bima (Jkt-Sby). Tiap gerbongnya terdiri dari bilik-bilik berisi ranjang susun. Detail fasilitasnya bisa kamu lihat dalam screenshot artikel Tirto di bawah.

Fasilitas ranjang tersebut ada di KA Bima selama 1967–1984. Setelah itu, PT KAI mulai menggantinya dengan kursi hingga akhirnya gaada lagi ranjang di KA Bima sejak 1990.

Kenapa?

Akun X resmi KAI sendiri pernah menjawabnya. Pada 2014, KAI bilang alasannya adalah untuk meningkatkan okupansi penumpang. Uniknya, pada 2017, KAI baru mengungkapkan alasan sebenarnya yaitu "alasan sosial".

Memang gak disebut detail apa "alasan sosial" itu. Tapi sudah jadi rahasia umum bahwa kereta tidur jaman dulu memang sering disalahgunakan untuk berbuat mesum 😅 Dan itu bukan sekadar rumor, karena Kompas pun pernah mengonfirmasi, meski lagi-lagi gak disebut secara detail.

Sebagai gantinya, sekarang KAI punya kereta tidur jenis baru, yaitu Compartment Suite. Kursinya bisa direbahkan 180 derajat jadi kayak kasur. Karena setiap bilik cuma berisi satu penumpang, Compartment Suite pun bisa dibilang "anti mesum".

Tapi ya sebenarnya aku pun pengen merasakan naik kereta yang ada ranjangnya. Tiket Compartment Suite terlalu mahal, sedangkan kursi kelas ekonomi atau eksekutif itu kurang nyaman dipake tidur 😩

Kalo menurutmu gimana? Apakah KAI perlu bikin kereta tidur pake ranjang kayak dulu lagi? Kalo iya, kira-kira gimana ya caranya untuk memastikan kereta tidur itu gak dipake buat mesum?
