I have a comp suggestion - the "Ultimate Breaks and Beats" series from '86'-'91 that was hugely influential with hip-hop producers and collated many breaks and samples that would become hip-hop staples.

@ScientificB I don't have any plans for a How To Rap 3, but the battle rap scene is a really good idea... if someone else wrote a book breaking that down, I'd definitely read it!

I was hugely grateful to him for providing the foreword to my second book, as well as letting me interview him for the first book - he was super knowledgeable and just a really great guy to talk to. A huge loss for hip-hop.

I interviewed him twice over email and he was incredibly nice, he answered everything in depth with loads of great stories, sent over classic photos & artwork, as well as quotes from his various aliases and mp3s of certain tracks as examples.

Just checked out an actual battle rapping robot called Shimon, by @RJSavery @gilweinberg and Lisa Zahray - incredible!
