We're supporting the owner/family of Maisie.
Maisie's owner is moving into a hospice due to illness and Maisie is looking for a home.
She is 14 years old.
Maisie would be best in a quiet home with no other pets or children.
She is chipped and spayed.
Maisie is healthy with no medical problems.
She would like a garden to lie in as she enjoys the sunshine.
We think Maisie would make a great companion for someone who is on their own or a couple with a quiet home.
Maisie uses a litter tray and likes her treats.
She sleeps in her own bed or on the sofa.
Maisie is happy to be left alone. She has a carry box and eats Gourmet Mon Petit, Fresh n Fine, Gourmet Perle sachets and does like the cat lick sticks.

A postman wearing an England shirt has been caught on camera kicking a blind shih tzu ‘like a football’ - with it later dying from organ failure.

Owner Eve Lewis, 40, said the man denied attacking her dog Ethel, but Ring doorbell footage showed that he had, just seconds after he handed over a parcel.

The 11-year-old pet was partially blind and had only one tooth, so posed no threat, Ms Lewis said.
‘The driver was walking away and still made the effort to turn around and kick her.

‘He didn’t just kick her, he toe punted her like she was a football. She flew up in the air and hit the ground and rolled three times.’

The NHS worker, who lives with her five-year-old son and their other dog, Stanley, a French bulldog, described her panic after the attack.

She took Ethel from their home in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, to the vets’, but was told she could not be saved.
‘Her blood pressure dropped and they put tubes up her nose. Then they said there’s internal bleeding.

Ms Lewis made the difficult decision to put Ethel down after the vet said she had suffered irreversible brain damage.

She told The Sun: ‘We always called her Ethel 2.0 because after every surgery she had she would bounce back, but she didn’t make it this time. She was an old gal.
‘I just don’t want this to happen to anyone else. I’m heartbroken and angry. I’ve gone through about 100 packs of tissues.’

It is understood the postman has been suspended by Royal Mail.

This man brutally and repeatedly smashed a Seagull against the wall of the Harbour View Cafe in Truro because it tried to steal some food. He then stuffed the Seagull through the fence onto the road where if floundered with two broken wings.

This was in front of numerous people and children who were hugely upset.

North Yorkshire Police are seeking the identity of three people who they want to speak to after money was stolen from a woman in York.

The victim, who is in her 90s, was followed from Lloyds Bank in York city centre into Marks & Spencer on Parliament Street, on Friday 12 June. Once inside, she was approached by a group of people, who took cash from her. The victim only realised the money was missing when she went to pay for the items she had picked up. She was understandably left very distressed and upset.

As enquiries continue, officers have released CCTV images of three people they want to speak to, as they may have important information that could assist the investigation.

Stuart set up CCTV, caught him red-handed, then loaded every tyre up and dumped the whole pile straight on the culprit’s own doorstep.
