कलकत्ता हाईकोर्ट की टॉप रूफ पर अवैध मस्जिद मामले में कोर्ट ने स्टेटस रिपोर्ट मांगी-

रिपोर्ट के अनुसार छत पर स्थित एक कमरे में इस्लाम धर्म से संबंधित धार्मिक साहित्य, गद्दे, कुर्सियाँ, पंखे, बाल्टियाँ और जूते-चप्पलों जैसी सामग्री पाई गई, जिसके दोनों लकड़ी के दरवाजों की चाबियाँ एक निजी अधिवक्ता, एज़ाज़ हुसैन के पास थीं।

​हाई कोर्ट परिसर की चाबियाँ और सुरक्षा प्रशासन के पास होने के नियम के तहत, अदालत ने अधिवक्ता के पास चाबियाँ होने पर आश्चर्य जताया और उन्हें याचिकाकर्ता द्वारा प्रतिवादी बनाकर जवाब प्रस्तुत करने का आदेश दिया।
