I built a new open-source ocean using @threejs, i wanted to give it a little bit more time than the initial version that i published.

My team at Google XR just started open-sourcing GNM, our ecosystem of parametric human models and perception stacks, starting with GNM Head.
Exciting to see the community adopt and experiment with it so enthusiastically! 🥳

CSS bugs are the hardest to profile — no stack traces, no clear breakpoints, just users saying "the page feels slow."
Bernie Sumption shows an AI-assisted workflow to find rendering bottlenecks fast, using Chrome DevTools MCP.

Now @threejs WebGL Water also supports cylinder shape 😄. The shadow, reflection and refraction remain the same, and the only gotcha is the implementation of caustics, I have to create a separate one to handle the cylinder shape specifically, but will try to make both box and cylinder one share as much as possible.
Still experimenting with hand tracking 🖐️ using a webcam and the dear Carlo.
The 3D model was generated from a single image in @omma_ai Studio, and I remixed an Octopus demo to take advantage of the physics simulation.
Building with AI these days is so much fun.
Music also generated from the Studio

I’ve been capturing 3D human motion for 30 years and today is maybe the biggest day in that history. We are presenting MAMMA at CVPR (oral session 2A). MAMMA is a markerless multi-camera system that has accuracy similar to marker-based systems.
