Last month, a book launch on the cultural heritage of Artsakh in Berlin was moved online after dangerous threats – including personal – were received from the Azerbaijani embassy in Germany.

This hasn't stopped Armenians, though.

In the coming week, an exhibition titled "Churches, Cardboard, and Cultural Erasure: Traces of Artsakh" will open in Berlin. Hosted by the Ararat Collective, the exhibition is organized by Shant Charoian, a Syrian-Armenian repat with a Master's in Architecture from Harvard.
