@steelernation Because he sucks as a blocker. You don't use Spencer as a 6th lineman if your TE can block. Using Muth in 2 TEs sets automatically lets the defense know it's likely a pass play. And when you do run with him in to try to throw the defense off he fails to sustain his block..

@YinzerVA Defenses have to stay simple. Making it easier for Ben to read the defense pre snap. Now that he can now longer but time with his legs and strength he cant protect himself and thats why he looks timid. Father times always wins. Gonna miss him but its time

@YinzerVA The oline being trash doesnt change the fact that Ben is done. Both can be true. Ben has always been a one read QB for the most part. If his pre snap read was open he threw it to him. If he wasnt he used his legs and strength to buy time. Its why he loved the no huddle.
