Disappointing to see Democrats vote to provide $1.3 billion less to our state than Georgia would have received under previous aid formulas.
This bill hits Georgia the hardest and rewards California and New York the most. #gapol
This formula withholds more funding from Georgia than any other state, when compared to the CARES Act. If no changes are made, Georgia would receive almost $1.3 billion less than a straight per capita distribution. And New York receives 50 percent more aid per person.
