@Teachers__Unite And union leadership is so weak and ineffective, they have no plan to deal with it. They could start by taking a strike vote and not go to work in September without a deal.
@Teachers__Unite Shouldn’t they have done that awhile ago? Looks like the suckers will be working into next March when they will have a section 33 contract imposed on them. No contract no work in September. Take a strike vote now!
@LibDT00@Teachers__Unite Then you speak with internal affairs and the local crown attorney. Report the officer refused to respond to a reported crime. Just as important is to get a police incident number. That is independent third party confirmation that something happened. In case victims need WSIB
@osstf@marthahradowy You are getting a section 33 contract, just like Alberta. If you do nothing; if teachers continue to do all of the extras and subsidize the classroom with their own money, then the govt will take even more in the next round
@suburban_T@Teachers__Unite Because teachers refuse to call the police. Weak union leadership refuses to give members all the ere information, and options, they have.
@sheriwa34410796@Teachers__Unite If your assaulted, call the police. If management tries to punish you in any way, call the police and he/she will be charged with obstruction of justice
@Bell my channel guide is off by an hour on both of my 9400 receivers. Only a one hour wait for on phone tech support. Is this system problem? The soft reboot didn’t help.
@Teachers__Unite And what did the union leadership do? Did they advise teachers do call the police if they are victims, or witness, a crime? Or do they believe the grade 10 civics lessons on good citizenship just some b s for kids?
@Teachers__Unite This has been going on since 2010. OSSTF refused to acknowledge it. Infact, they were critical of teachers who fought hard against this.
@cogecohelps I cannot access webmail. No outages reported and no one answers your phone. The internet works fine. Is there a problem with webmail in area code L9H 7S2?
@Teachers__Unite Despite public opinion, education is under funded because of weak union leadership over the last decade or so. Remember when OSSTF’s motto was “protecting public education?” That died with strong, effective leadership.
@Teachers__Unite@fordnation Teachers never have adequate supplies because they keep subsidizing the boards by buying the supplies out of their own pocket.
