For today’s 300th anniversary of the death of Sir Christopher Wren - my 2 favourite Wren spaces:
- his 3rd building - ingenious ensemble of chapel, cloister, long gallery and clock @EmmaCambridge
- the SW tower @StPaulsLondon with its cantilevered staircase & perfect lighting.
Friends of Old St Stephen's have put on concerts, organised repairs over the years. It's taken a back seat of late tho we’re responsible for the #OneSmallBell project-over £9000 donations +the same in a grant! If you'd like to be involved come to our AGM Fylingdales Inn Fri 7pm

Did you know that churches need to breathe? Moisture needs to be able to enter and leave a building when the weather changes. Below is a picture of repointing being carried out with lime mortar one of the materials we use that better allow this process to happen.
