Ken Paxton fires back after polling showing Democrat James Talarico with a slight lead in the Texas Senate race, accusing his opponent of hiding a "socialist" agenda behind a moderate rebrand.

Paxton told Fox News Digital that Talarico has "changed all his positions on pick an issue, whether it's boys in girls' sports, or meat, or trans-ing kids" — and that once voters see his actual voting record, the race flips.

The attorney general also pointed to Talarico's three-month head start after Paxton's primary runoff with Sen. John Cornyn, noting the Democrat has been "spending $2 million a week" while being fueled by out-of-state cash.
