"Let's see what happns when we take away th puppy"

Harold Ramis cafe: A fictional coffe shop, some where out there, paying homage in a temporary celebration.
Some of the fantastic people around here are NSFW.
If a customer can't pay for something and expect to own it, then I don't see why customers should be expected to continue to pay for your product.
Food for thought, Sony.
When asked if they support a "digital privacy bill of rights", EVERY SINGLE AUDIENCE MEASURED SUPPORTS IT.
This includes Republicans (+65% net support) and Trump voters (+68%).
Aight. It's happening.
(To everyone outside of the US and Canada- please wait to see this in theaters in October. We did so much w this that you'll wanna see on a big screen and w people laughing around you. Also- in US & Canada, we're still in some theaters, all w packed houses)
Reminder: KOSA won't stop predators or make the internet safer.
It will encourage online censorship, pressure platforms to restrict lawful content, and create new risks for Americans' privacy online.
The most infuriating thing is that as someone who graduated with an IT degree and working in big tech, Taylor has been correct this entire time. She understands how it works and asks if she doesn’t. I’m so sick of the mansplaining from people that are objectively wrong
This slop movie is going to exacerbate the insane off the rails moral panic about technology and manufacture consent for the worst mass surveillance and censorship laws we’ve seen in our lifetime
Most of the 1000 that we lost were already only having us early morning or late night. Very few see those. A lot of that "split screening" started during the 1st week and even mid-1st weeknd.
The ones we kept are packing the house (even tho we lost some that were packing em in)
Why mandatory age verification for AI is the wrong policy response
@taylordbarkley, director of federal government affairs at The Abundance Institute:
"That is the equivalent of the government saying, 'We need your papers before you can use computers.'"
"AI is computing. It'll continually be integrated into more and more of our computing."
"That's a really dangerous road to go down... privacy issues, security issues, but also speech issues when the government is saying, 'You cannot access certain tools without proving who you are and your age.'"
The correct term for age verification is censorship. We don’t need the state’s permission to access and exchange information, and in a world in which we hand over this authority, we will have effectively traded our sovereignty for some false sense of security.
We need more people like John Perry Barlow, and we need them now. Oppose these regimes at all costs.
