A list of people appointed by @officialABAT who work for him, along with their criminal records:
First, I will start with the President of Nigeria himself.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu forfeited $400,000 to the US government from accounts alleged to be tied to a heroin-trafficking ring.
Jolly Nyame (former Taraba State governor) was convicted of diverting about 1.64 billion in state funds. He is now on Tinubu’s 2027 campaign council.
Joshua Dariye (former Plateau State governor) was convicted of looting approximately 1.2 billion in state funds. He is also on Tinubu's 2027 campaign council.
Ngozi Olejeme (former NSITF chair): In 2025, the EFCC caught her in possession of about 1 billion naira in proceeds from unlawful activities. She is now a zonal director for the 2027 campaign council.
Betta Edu (former Humanitarian Affairs Minister): @edu_betta was suspended in 2024 after directing the transfer of 585 million naira in grants, meant for vulnerable groups, into a private account. She has now been appointed to lead women's mobilization on the 2027 campaign council.
Ayodele Oke: The @officialEFCC found $43 million, £28,000, and 23 million naira in his Ikoyi apartment in 2017. He has been nominated as an ambassador.
Abdulaziz Yari (former Zamfara State governor): The EFCC arrested him in connection with an 84 billion naira case. He is now the Director-General of the 2027 campaign.
Godswill Akpabio (Senate President): The EFCC investigated @Senator_Akpabio for the diversion of 100 billion naira during his tenure as the governor of Akwa Ibom State.
Femi Gbajabiamila (Chief of Staff): @femigbaja is known to have taken a 400 million naira bribe in exchange for an appointment letter.
Bello Matawalle (Minister of State for Defence): @bellomatawalle1 is currently under EFCC investigation for the alleged diversion of about ₦70 billion.
Ibrahim Shehu Shema (Chairman, Federal Capital Development Authority): He faced two major corruption cases involving the alleged embezzlement of ₦11 billion and the misappropriation of ₦5.7 billion.
I intentionally didn't mention Wike. @GovWike@SERAPNigeria, I want to know: according to Nigerian law, should ex-convicts, people facing court cases, and individuals with criminal records hold public office just so they can steal more?
Why @PeterObi and Atiku Abubakar are not saying anything about this?
I wonder how Peter Obi, Atiku, or Omoyele Sowore think they will win when the people working for Tinubu are experienced criminals.
Even the current INEC Chairman, appointed by Tinubu, is being accused of tweeting in support of the APC.
If I get scammed and have the option of using Femi Falana or VDM to recover the money, I will go for VDM.
Femi Falana will charge me for his services as a lawyer. VDM will do the work at no cost and take nothing.
If I go through Femi Falana, the police will likely demand mobilisation money and other payments before they act. When they see VDM involved, they will not even consider asking for money because they want to protect their name.
It can take Femi Falana months to recover the money because of constant adjournments. VDM can recover it with just one or two videos.
The police will often move slowly when a lawyer is handling the matter. They work faster and more efficiently once VDM is involved.
A lawyer may take a percentage after the money is recovered. With VDM you leave with the full amount because he does not need a share.
It is sad that VDM now does the work of lawyers and the police better than they do it themselves. Many people now trust him more than the courts and the police because they have lost faith in the justice system.
May God continue to protect VDM for the sake of the common man. 💪🙌
Who is the man, Peter Obi?
Peter Obi is a man of integrity.
Peter Obi is a man of passion.
Peter Obi is a man of vision.
Peter Obi is a man of principles.
Peter Obi is a man of values.
Peter Obi is a man who says he feels the pain Nigerians are going through and has offered himself to serve and lead at a time when the country desperately needs better leadership.
He is a man who wants to challenge the status quo and build a Nigeria where public resources are used for the public good.
He has a record of public service that Nigerians can examine and judge for themselves.
He is a man who has stepped outside his comfort zone and used his time and resources to support vulnerable Nigerians, including children in need.
Nigeria needs leadership built on competence, accountability, compassion and service, not empty promises.
Peter Obi represents the kind of leadership many Nigerians are demanding,a leader who puts the people first.
The choice is ours. The future is ours. 🇳🇬
Fela is not The Originator Of Afrobeat. Maybe to people in Lagos and the Yorubas but I’m from the East — Singer Tekno
Nigerian singer Tekno has weighed in on the history of Afrobeat and Fela Kuti’s position as one of the genre’s most influential figures, arguing that the story goes beyond one person.
Speaking during an interview on HOT 97, Tekno acknowledged Fela’s impact while pointing to other Nigerian music legends who influenced the sound. Responding to a question about Fela being the father or creator of the Afrobeat sound he said;
“I don’t know, to be honest. There are legends like Oliver De Coque that made pure highlife music, and highlife is also Afrobeat. So I would say for the people in Lagos and Yorubas, a record of mine that is ‘Rara’ is heavily inspired by Fela because I heard his tune and he is a legend. He stamped the Afrobeat thing on the world map.”
“But there are other people that we listen to from the East, because I am from the East, and we had legends that sang some type of music that if you heard today, you wouldn’t even believe that this music was made in those times. I feel like they don’t know these guys or maybe they didn’t come across them.”
Tekno said his appreciation for these older musicians began at home, revealing that his father played their records while he was growing up.
“I would say I was more inspired by Oliver De Coque because my dad used to play his records. There were so many artists that nobody knows about, and Fela gets the credit because he kind of travelled and had the band and went around the world.”
“For some people, he is the originator of the Afrobeat thing, but to me, there is still a bunch of them and a lot of legends no one speaks about.”
