Thank you to Lumsden’s Over the Hill Orchards for hosting their Ladybug Picnic Festival. It was a fun day in their orchard benefitting the Mother Baby Unit in the Rawlco Centre for Mother Baby Care, at Regina’s General Hospital, in memory of Sally Elliott.
Kelly Doka, a 70-year-old farmer and cancer survivor from the Kipling area, has first-hand experience in our catheterization labs at the Mosaic Heart Centre, in Regina’s General Hospital.

Our new $2.5 million Cardiac Care Campaign is set to further enhance the level of cardiac care for the people of southern Saskatchewan. Thanks to the generosity of Municipal Hail Insurance, your gift will be matched up to $1 million!
6 Saskatchewan hospital foundations help fund the province’s first Diagnostic Sonography Program. Training local technicians will add capacity to the system and help keep up with the high demand for ultrasound technicians. @HRF helped lobby for the program and is providing $100K.

Last year, the Foundation committed more than $500,000 to increase the capacity of our Trauma/Burn Unit at the Regina General Hospital by 50 per cent. We are grateful for the generous support of $50,000 from the Saskatchewan Professional Firefighters and Paramedics Burn Fund.

Over the Hill Orchards & Winery will be hosting its second annual Ladybug Picnic Festival on Aug. 24. This is an event you won’t want to miss! Enjoy a picnic in the beautiful Lumsden valley and release some ladybugs into the orchard, all while supporting the Mother Baby Unit.
