Well I was scared people would mispronounce my beautiful name or use it in a trolling manner (they still did😂 cc ‘Ekuke’)

I just remembered when my husband’s cousin came to the house to complain/seek advice that he’s ready to settle down but his girlfriend of 3 years+ has a Masters while he only has an OND, so my mother-in-law called him a big fool and chased him out of her house. 😭🤣🤣

It was also the day I found out the minimum educational criteria for marrying into my husband’s family is a Masters, and they only approved of me because I’m a Pharmacist and still very young.

It finally made sense why my mother-in-law would occasionally advise me I should never let marriage hinder my career growth and why every other daughter-in-law has a Phd.
