@BigCatFan_Fast@Tami_A@DawnAddleyB@TansuYegen@katelyn_ohashi Irish dancers call it "sock glue" to keep your socks in place while you compete. It's a water based gel sort of blue, usually applied from a bottle with a roller ball. Stays put all day, even through sweat.
@JCB_Journo This is going to sound dumb, but training. He mostly gets on the table not the counters, but if I tell him to get down, he does. I use high value treats to teach new directions, then his regular ones when he has it down to reinforce the good behaviour. It helps he knows his name.
UPDATE! Someone who was asking for help maybe 20-30 mins ago has been picked up. There are boats in Laplace going from HOUSE TO HOUSE, y'all just make sure if they can't get out that attic ...tell them to make some type of noise or alerting sound to let them know their in there!
There are obviously people dealing with far more terrible circumstances, but this life is not a competition and we don't have to invalidate our pain because it feels less serious than someone else's. Fear is fear and worry is worry and stress is stress.
Few things are more disheartening IMHO than if someone who's good at a thing says "it's easy" and then you try and it is NOT that easy.
It needs to be okay for things to be hard, and still worth doing.
@KHandozo I have moderately advanced skills in a lot of handcrafts, though by no means a mastery in any of them. I've been knitting, crocheting, and sewing since I was about 6. Time, patience, screaming, a mountain of WIPs, these are all common in my house to this day while I'm working.
@rosieatlarge I'm not sure how it is on the gore element BC I haven't watched it in a while, but I enjoy the Expendables series for a good laugh with a fight-y film. Maybe I'll watch it tonight lol
The Vagina Museum is a charity. We literally wouldn't be able to do this without you. Any donation makes a huge difference in helping a small, independent space dedicated to vaginas, vulvas and the gynaecological anatomy survive and thrive https://t.co/91ythf66zs
@MarshaBlackburn Trump:
- Signed a surrender to the Taliban in February, 2020
- Forced the release of 5,000 T fighters and their co-founder
- Set the deadline in the next President's term
- Drew down US forces to just 2,500
It wasn't a plan.
It was a booby trap.
Do you realise what a radical thing libraries are? Publicly-funded spaces where you can access information, countless books, and the internet even if you are homeless? There is a reason why people in power want to convince you they are superfluous and should be defunded.
@AO3_Status Who in their right mind was using that many in the first place??? Like if I saw that many tags on a single work I'd probably run the other way. I've read some seriously long work that had a lot, but I think the longest piece still only had like 35 or 40?
@drmel57@BradTakei@GeorgeTakei I would say it's actually the norm. Some people even have an open casket viewing prior to cremation. Some people choose to have a memorial instead or closed casket, primarily if the person was too I'll or was in an accident that makes a viewing insensitive to the person's memory.
@abbysyarns I wouldn't, honestly. It's pretty normal to feel like that no matter when in life you have medical changes like that. And it's often a process of feeling okay with it. Sometimes you may think you're fine, then you get upset all over again. It's life 🤷🏼♀️
