@JamesWoodfield These people aren't on strike. They are just withdrawing their labour as individuals to negotiate new terms and conditions. They aren't militant,they just want to be valued.

@tomhfh A house used to be somewhere affordable to live. It's now a product of the banking sector.
The difference between the 1997 house and the same house now is debt. Terrible for society but fantastic if you're a bank... it's a scandal.

@David__Osland This happens in France. Doctor's appointments are €23 but can be claimed back. Obviously not everyone has to pay due to circumstances.

@tomhfh Met a paramedic visiting my 90 year old mother yesterday. I asked what sort of salary he was on. After 6yrs of studying he was on £43k with £68k of debt. He was happy though as he'd just secured a position in Australia. New salary £110k plus resettlement package.
