@awoodenguardian Unable to stop the smile from pulling at her lips, Emma glanced out the window. The feeling of familiarity hitting her like a punch the moment she took in her old friend.
“I’m in Hope’s room, I’ll be down in just a moment” +
@awoodenguardian Staring at her phone the moment the screen lit up Emma tapped the small screen
📲: that was fast! I left you a spare key under the pot to the left of the door. I’ll drop my location to you now
@awoodenguardian Quickly tapping in her number Emma handed it back to him quickly.
“There, I can’t wait to get you settled. I think this will be helpful for the both of us”
@awoodenguardian “Here, give me your phone and I’ll put my number in. That’s way when you’re ready to go, I can send you the address. I need to get home and clean out the spare room. It’s kind of cluttered with baby stuff right now.”
She laughed, putting her hands into her jacket pocket.
@awoodenguardian “You’re welcome. Plus it just doesn’t feel right having you go off on your own when I’m perfectly capable of helping.”
She nudged his shoulder with a smile
“Besides— you would do the same for me if the roles were reversed.”
This version of Emma is set after the events of the show. Currently living in Boston with both Henry and Hope, Emma is a single mom. Having lost Killian to an attempt to overthrow the castle during one of their many stays in the Enchanted Forest; Emma left magic behind once again
Allowing her arms to drop to her side she shook her head immediately.
“No, absolutely not. There’s no reason for you to spend money that you don’t have on a hotel. Why don’t you come stay with Henry, Hope and I? Then we can focus on finding you a job?”
@illbeursavior he couldn't help but chuckle at that. his smile growing.
"sure did."
he played along. though he actually did come looking for her.
"i'm staying at a motel nearby until i have a steady job and can afford a place. i'll be fine."
