John Lewis fought for equality during the civil rights movement. He marched and risked his life for justice. Lewis was one of the original Freedom Riders, often facing violence and jail time. Later, he became a champion for civil rights in Congress. #BlackHistoryMonth
Kindness Club spread unity, love, and respect throughout the school by organizing and selling Candy Grams, creating a Random Acts of Kindness tear tab, challenging K-3 students to a Kindness Challenge, and having 8th graders read to younger Wizards. #WeAreConcept@ConceptSchools

6th grade is learning about natural resources and how they are extracted. In this lab, students became "miners" and extracted beans from sand. Students then discussed the disadvantages of using nonrenewable resources and how to conserve renewable resources.
