Well-deserved recognition for the PROMISE Initiative focused on PReventing Opioid Misuse In the SouthEast. As part of the Initiative, 145 of the 150 @MSUExtService agents are trained in mental health first aid to better understand, identify and respond to signs of mental illness.
On average 44 people die everyday from prescription opioid overdose. @hseitz shares how she and her team are using communication research to develop opioid misuse prevention messages.
