Truly harrowing. A 37-minute wait when a child is surrounded and being intimidated is an unacceptable failure of the emergency system in gurgaon in broad daylight

Today something really unsettling happened in gurgaon haryana,my daughter was traveling alone with her friend with driver in front of park view city2 society on Sohna road near sector 49 a taxi driver banged the car with his taxi and started fighting with the driver then the taxi driver called his 5-6 friends who circled the car and did not let the car leave and seeing this situation kid immediately called the emergency number at 5:02 she explained that she was alone and the taxi driver did not let the car leave he even called 5-6 of his friends and even tried opening the car gate twice or thrice
The emergency operator confirmed that they would send the police
But Noone came after that even I called the emergency number they again reassured us that help will be on the way at 5:10 the police called my daughter and asked for her location
After that the police had a word with the other taxi driver so they left the car but still did not leave and did not let our car with our daughter inside leave
At 5:29 my daughter called again when the police did not turn up the police officer asked for the location again and finally reached at 5:39

Is this how the so-called emergency help line is supposed to work? is this the promised 7-8 min response? even after repeated calling the police comes after almost 39 mins?
Where is women and children safety in gurgaon then? when it takes 39 mins just for the police to turn up after repeated calls

This is really shameful and unsettling

Only 200 mtr stretch is given as access to houses built in the lane. Ansal along with authorities cheated innocent home buyers and left them on middle of the road. #wewantjustice

Surprisingly, DGTP is so strict and quick to act against homebuyers for every inch of encroachment, but completely blind when it comes to developers!

In Ansal Api sector 67
•License not renewed
•Builder blacklisted & on the verge of bankruptcy
•Common areas (schools, parks) sold off
•No sign of completion infrastructure
•Every inch sold, and the builder was caught fleeing the country

Root cause to be addressed first. Still builders are encroaching continually. They don’t construct drain & STP which results such water logging in every street and on every road. Despite giving EDC, IDC, property tax etc residents are deprived of basic amenities.

The true cause of waterlogging is not the rains themselves. Rain is a natural phenomenon, essential for sustaining life. The issue lies in the drainage systems and the historical lakes of Gurgaon, which once channeled water to these lakes and the Yamuna River. Unfortunately, these areas have been encroached upon by large developers, and the resulting concrete jungle is the real culprit. The High Court has already issued orders on this matter, and the National Green Tribunal (NGT) has devised plans for drainage and water harvesting under the name Badshapur Drain. Please escalate and closely monitor the implementation of this plan to achieve a lasting solution.🙏
