The key bridge construction of Shenshan High-Speed Rail made a breakthrough. It set a national record for cross-line steel beam hoisting across an active railway at a tiny crossing angle.

Linking Shenzhen, Huizhou and Shenshan Cooperation Zone, the 125.5km line runs at 350km/h with six stations including Xili and Luohu North. Its bridge-tunnel ratio hits 92.6%.

Once operational in 2027, travel between central Shenzhen and Shenshan will take only 30 minutes, boosting integrated development of the Greater Bay Area.
