I think he remembers EVERYTHING and is pretending not to because staying away from Pi-o’s family is the only way he survived.
They’re both protecting themselves and misunderstanding each other at the same time. This is PAINFUL.

This being the beginning of the villain origin story is insane because he’s not mad becus he got shot,hes not mad because he can’t play piano,he’s not even accusing Pio of the kidnapping he’s mad because he denied their relationship.
