“When I wrote this the Middle Eastern conflict wasn’t happening. So I tried to do little things to move it away from that, but it doesn’t have anything to do with the Middle East," Gunn said pre-release. Disney’s insistence on creating new places for IP rather than just recreating the things people love is so odd. Galaxy’s Edge’s biggest draw is the Falcon. These new places are trying to be two different things at once. Either do original stuff or recreate the IP
