Pakistani immigrants built an illegal mosque without permission in Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture, Japan. The Pakistani ambassador himself attended the inauguration ceremony.
However, Japanese local authorities have issued an order to demolish the mosque and are demanding its removal as soon as possible.
The owner side has requested 5 years’ time, but the city administration is not accepting it. Currently, the mosque is closed, the gate is locked, and prayers have been stopped.

What absolute nonsense. Modi was the Prime Minister who launched the Swachh Bharat Mission. If a large section of the country’s civilian population is illiterate and lacks basic civic sense, how can you put all the blame on the Prime Minister?
In most developed countries, the affluent sections of society actively demand accountability from their municipal corporations or local councils and make sure that roads are kept clean and garbage is collected properly. In India, however, even many supposedly “top” neighbourhoods are filthy. Doctors, engineers, lawyers and other educated, affluent people often live in colonies where the surroundings are dirty, yet very few of them bother to demand action because, as long as their own homes are clean, they don’t seem to care about what happens outside.
If you are paying so much in taxes (which most of them siphon) why not hold your local municipal corporation or council accountable? Demand better services, complain when they fail, and keep following up until something is done.
The fact is that India’s upper and educated classes themselves often lack basic civic sense. You cannot expect the government alone to keep every street clean if citizens are unwilling to take responsibility for their own surroundings and demand accountability from their local authorities.
