difference makers our youth of today needed. Chuck Lliteras is one of those few.

building the relationship we both treasured. Very few of us have had the privilege and honor to have shared our life with such a 'Difference Maker'!

He always makes everyone around him better. He does what is best for those he served, teaching all of us life skills to enhance our future. I spent the best years at Maryville and Harrisonville with Chuck as CSCS Teacher, Head FB, and Track Coach.

Signs of a toxic school culture:
* no clear vision just division
* no open dialogue
* policies over people
* communication line is the grapevine
* lack of trust
* self preservation instead of team
* focus on correcting instead of praising
* favoritism
* compliance focused

Teachers, please don't do these 5 things this year:
* take away recess as a punishment
* use silent lunch on whole group
* make students go more than an 1- 1 1/2 hr without a break
or physical activity
* take students misbehavior personally
* give up on your students
