Shingle Roof Replacement – Scope of Work

Hi-Tech Contracting and Restoration Corp successfully completed a full shingle roof replacement project on an approximately 1,100 square foot residential property. The project involved the removal of three (3) existing layers of aged and deteriorated asphalt shingles, exposing the underlying roof deck.

Upon inspection, the existing wood decking—approximately 80 years old—was found to be structurally outdated and unsuitable for reuse. All compromised plywood sheathing was removed and replaced with new, code-compliant exterior-grade plywood to ensure a solid and durable substrate.

A high-performance waterproofing system was then installed, including a full ice and water shield membrane applied to vulnerable areas, along with additional roofing underlayment to enhance moisture protection and long-term durability.

The roofing system was completed with the installation of premium GAF Timberline HD architectural shingles, providing superior weather resistance, enhanced curb appeal, and extended lifespan.

All work areas were maintained in a clean and organized condition throughout the project. Upon completion, all debris and construction materials were properly removed, leaving the site clean and ready for use.
