@tfurlong@NBCPhiladelphia Nothing on the Wilmington side of Hockessin. Did some driving around North Star but couldn't really find anything. Granted, didn't have any real idea where to look but things seemed normal.
@davidhogg111 32. $90,000 and became disabled in graduate school. Just got my first $20/hr job last year. :/ Have barely made any payments on it because I’ve been employed in crap min-wage jobs since graduating.
if you have a problem with the student loan cancellation because you already paid off your loans, just pretend its a tax cut for the rich that you also never got but mysteriously didn't complain about.
@jenniewhite647 @thexmasprince @grindtymehannah @Tech4Abolition Respectfully, you want to punish the people that believed the lies YOU told us, for being upset when — to quote a Rise Against song — “the smoke on the horizon was the burning Promised Land”
@jenniewhite647 @thexmasprince @grindtymehannah @Tech4Abolition So you may think you’re doing something here, but I and a lot of other people who went to graduate school and either became disabled, or have struggled with employment (because of that degree), and who are decidedly “low income,” will absolutely benefit from this.
@vmdwip @SpookySable From trying to learn Arabic and friends who have learned Chinese, Korean, or Japanese, i believe it’s hard but doable. It just takes practice and training, and it may never be 100% exact, but it’s definitely harder than learning it as a native language.
@RadLegalTakes@Alyssa3467 @SpookySable @KatyMontgomerie Actually not bad though, I just dropped the I and think I got closer to the actual NG sound than I ever have before
@3_Song_Sunshine@notcapnamerica In one state they require that if you have a ectopic pregnancy , they must try to reattach the fetus.. Doctors told them that wasn't medically possible but they passed it anyway.. WTF
