html garden is an attempt to imagine what a "seasonal website" looks like, one that rewards visitors for coming back and noticing the subtle change and patina of the web.

i used LeMo to create the skeleton and establish the spacing, placed scans of the letters as the background glyphs, and then digitized in glyphs 3.
my feedback was to think about the tool and how it would draw.
Today was really tough. I wasnโt affected by the layoffs but sadly had to see some really talented folks leave wealthsimple today

This whole "the NYT ruined Wordle!" thing is a great case study in confirmation bias. It also gives us some insight into human nature that helps explain how conspiracy theories work.
my hot take is some smart young ppl have to pursue these roles in order to move up in their economic situation and provide themselves with the capital to seek therapy or support their families, etc. But yes hopefully they can grow outta that and into their truth!! ๐ฑโค๏ธ
so sick of seeing smart young ppl pursue regular rat races but then paint their morally-murky work as being mission-driven in order to signal that they're a good person. subtly lying to yourself creates reality distortion ripples that degrade your ability to see solutions clearly
