Unfortunately an very shared female experience with female drs!
The male rise in obstetrics brought in a lot of harm and controlling practices for women to make their job as a dr easier โ why I say im not a huge fan.
Not negating that common day male drs can save womens lives!
You sound like you are on the right track!!! Tough to be your own advocate when so many drs wont help. You sound like you may be interested in finding a holistic practitioner well versed in womens health to do some more in depth testing to find & treat the root cause that mainstream drs wont.
@nrdgrl007@DrewVento while im not a huge fan of male obgyn, your story rings true for a lot of women. Women gaslight and bully women ALL the time in health. its so sad :( so happy you had a dr who heard you & took your symptoms seriously
i used to vommit from cramps, lots went into my healing but I (& now many of my clients) SWEAR by the tea called "third trimester" by earth mother. it had red raspberry leaf which is a uterine tonic, nettle which is very mineral dense are both very helpful days leading up to period & on period. Cramp bark is also amazing and worth a try
@sassyjewboy a dr telling YOU what YOU might want ๐, unfortunately drs are like this everywhere :(
if you are into functional / holistic health tons of women can find lots of relief that way
@maggottree hair testing can give you massive insight to mineral status at a cellular level (how they are supporting neurotransmitters), thyroid health, adrenal health, heavy metals etc etc. my aunt suffered with CFS for YEARS. she was so calcified minerals could barely get into her cells
bully your doctor to actually look into your health, ask for blood work. improve your sleep hygiene, early morning sunlight food and exercise, coffee after breakfast, mag, taurine and glycine in the evening, bed time snack to keep blood sugar stable over night, no blue light an hour before bed, or have a professional figure it our for you & come check you minerals!
@LifeMathMoney 1. sunlight in eyes within hour of waking
2. food within an hour of waking
3. coffee only after food
4. mineral testing to help metabolic slow down or imbalances
@Ify__oma@komal_42 and a mineral test! low zinc, high copper, high calcium can all cause depressive like symptoms, mood shunting etc (blood is not a great way to test most minerals)
