Almost half the gaming jobs posted on Hitmarker in January included a salary! π€
In January 2022 only 6.98% of #gamingjobs were listed with salaries in comparison to the 45.29% of last month.
Displayed salary leads to more applicants for roles and happier job hunters! π
These people should really question whether their business is legitimate.
Because a $75-100 producer day rate is hardly even acceptable for a high school/college student with no/minimal experience. And students DEFINITELY don't have the time for that 5 days/week for 4 months.

Lead. LEADING projects. Leading 'dope sh*t' projects.
For $20/hr.
That's hardly half of the appropriate value for this work. You're just exploiting people. Your brand isn't 'dope sh*t' when you're part of the reason that TO work is a dead-end in esports.
$15-20/hr? You want someone to have THESE responsibilities for $15-20/hr.
And you're... proud... of this posting? That figure is insultingly low for the quality (and breadth) of work that goes into a quality esports product from this type of role.
"BoomTV makes dope sh*t."
π¨We're now HIRING! Are you an experienced tournament organizer who can bring unique, amazing events to life? Join our growing team! π

@brutebrutebrute If this is indicative of sweeping changes in response to feedback on, say, their intern postings, then I'm glad to see it. Their SMM-related intern program offerings last year were contributing to industry problems.
