1. VPS + Coolify instead of paying for expensive hosting like Vercel. I run my apps and database on my own server.

2. Cloudflare for database backups. Or use a separate VPS. Never keep your backups on the same server as your database. If it goes down, everything goes down with it.

3. A free Telegram bot for real-time alerts about what’s happening in my apps. Errors, signups, suspicious activity, payments. I built my own notifications instead of paying for another monitoring tool.

4. Open-source tools whenever possible. If I can self-host it or build a lightweight alternative, why add another subscription?

You don’t need a $200/month stack to build profitable apps.
