just sell your tickets or dont go you can be disappointed and express that 100% because what they did is wrong and unacceptable but GOING to the concert then being disrespectful to prove your point isnt teaching or expressing anything to anyone youre just being a straight up anti
the funniest thing is that yall want to have your cake and eat it too. not showing up and leaving your seat empty would be a bigger slap in the face but that’d require sacrificing your own enjoyment for those oh so moral principles and you’re too much of a pussy to do that 😭
The fact that he carried the fandom in 2024, continuously releasing content and always being there for armys will always be one of the most cherished memories.
who needs a grammy when this is what BTS concerts look like everywhere they go in the world with every stadium becoming a sea of lights and every lyric sung right back to them
e pior eh q as fas sem nenhum pingo de pensamento crítico vão bater palma, se amanhã eles decidirem lançar uma musica em coreano pra concorrer elas batem palma dnv kkkk
BTS announced their hiatus. When nobody expected them to. They fulfilled their country's national duty. Without hesitation. They came back after four years. People doubted them. Said they were over. Said the industry had moved on. Then they released ARIRANG. The biggest. The boldest. The most artistically ambitious projects of the year. Ended the Western Darlings.
And now they've chosen NOT to submit their music to the Grammys, taking a stand against a system they believe categorizes music by region and language.
That's power. Not chasing the industry.
That's how history is written. That's how the industry changes.
grammy/recording academy for the first time IN HISTORY responded to an artist's notice of withdrawal from their awards from their official accounts. other artists when they showed their reaction they weren't afraid, but i am sure they deeply felt what kind of loss of reputation a reaction from an artist at the maximum of a global power like bts would create. the number of media outlets asking them for a answer must have crossed the limit that required them to make a statement from their official accounts
Sometimes the bravest decision isn't chasing what you've always wanted, it's choosing yourself instead. If a space repeatedly makes you feel unseen or unwelcome, protecting your peace is never a loss. BTS continues to teach that lesson to me.
