@Colin_d_m What positive externality does incentivizing pet ownership have lol? If anything, there should be a way to tax pet ownership more, because they expend city resources and perhaps also reduce the fertility rate
@LinkofSunshine Did this whole walk last week, aren’t these lanes already added? Or are they expanding stuff even more? The pedestrian experience on 9th between those streets has been phenomenal lately
@ulkar_aghayeva Not sure if this was an AB test but this rarely shows up for me. The best alternative purely for the “train section” feature is Citymapper
@CindyWan19@ChefMiew@milesintransit1 The Airport Express octopus person was surprisingly unhelpful and not good at communicating. Even the rudest countries have good airport transit staff usually. Ended up figuring out that the bus was much cheaper, comfortable, and actually a bit faster for Kowloon
@milesintransit1 The pedestrian restricting barriers lining the streets, rapidly accelerating and decelerating headache inducing and still slow buses that barely show up, the outdated octopus tech and confusing fare system, and a crowded subway that only takes you to a certain specific stations😭
@milesintransit1 Crazy someone is finally saying it, public transit was so annoying when I was in HK recently. We don’t appreciate NYC’s shallow and quickly accessible system and a vast number of stations until we have to walk across an entire mall every time we need to get on a train for 2 stops
@SandyofCthulhu Except black peppers are native to India. And several beans have been eaten in the old world for millennia. The Columbian Exchange transformed every cuisine in the world, but the old world has always been a heavy hitter regardless
