why does only lewis need to be humble about his achievements btw? heโs the winningest driver this sport has ever seen, let him motherfucking brag about it if he wants to.
@BucketHatLewis I'm very quick to chalk everything up to racism because that's what it is. Lewis being the only black man in the history of F1 and being at the top of the ladder is a hard pill for them to swallow. That's why they try to turn him into an aggressor whenever he says anything.
them managing to find an issue with lewis saying he hopes to be like michael nowโฆheโs literally damned if he does damned if he doesnโt with these people. theyโre going to find an issue in everything he says.
Feeling really honoured to be mentioned in the same likeness as a driver like Michael. What happened today is beyond my wildest dreams. I canโt express how grateful I am to all the fans, and to my amazing team for being with me on this journey. This is for us #91
Imagine achieving so much in F1, that the 7 stars on your back honoring a past champion isnโt cosplay, cus you have the same number of wdcโs yourself.
Itโs a shame Stan wars get in the way of pplโs ability to enjoy/celebrate a driver making history in real time. Right now.
๐จ | Toto Wolff on 2021 Abu Dhabi:
โI made my peace and so did Lewis. And Max deserved to be world champion.โ
โAnd the season isnโt defined by one single evening.โ
certain quotes wild omg anyway... lewis hamilton has been honouring michael schumacher in many ways throughout his career, he also raced against michael, inherited michael's mercedes seat, worked with michael's son for years, been chosen by michael's family / foundation (who referred to lewis as a legend) for a 2024 tribute on the 30th anniversary of his first championship... like we're just looking for negatives at this point, pretending we know and can dictate how an exclusive club of seven time world champions are allowed to speak of each other's achievements.
