So I've started editing my first chapter.
@kurtphillipstx Yeah, definitely. My other favorite part was how heavily he foreshadowed Mina getting bit. Around the twelfth time a character said "I'm so glad Mina is safe," I got suspicious haha
Getting towards the end of Dracula. I'm glad that in the last hundred years we've learned to not have paragraphs the size of full pages where one character recounts to the rest everything that just happened in the previous chapter. (Still enjoying it though)
I've been writing chapters out of order, just writing what I felt like in the moment. While it helped getting words down, I think it's making keeping the story in my head quite a bit harder.
I'm reading Dracula for the first time and came across a a quote I really liked:
"I suppose a cry does us all good at times - clears the air as other rain does" - Mina Harker
