The story ended with Mia, her parents and all the investors buying the motel and then jumping in the pool. At the end of the story I felt relief that they got the motel.

@ChapterChatNZ Q7: The story ended with the Tang family buying the motel off Mr Yao. I liked the ending because Mia finally gets to jump into the pool that she hasn't been able to go into for the past year. I think she feels a sense of achievement and pride.
