TRENDING: Best Bunch Defense In Madden 26
Playbook: Multiple D
Form: Dime 32
Shell: Cover 2
Play: Cover 6
♟️Setup:
1. Shift dline right
2. Show blitz linebackers (right on dpad + R1)
3. Crash dline down
4. Blitz linebacker on right of screen
5. Blitz slot DB on right of screen
6. Hook zone DE on left of screen
7. Do whatever with your user
This is the best blitz in Madden 26 and I posted this for Grandmaster Members 2 months ago on Madden Academy.
You'll either get a linebacker a gap, slot off edge, or slot to loop through the bgap.
(Untarget the user has no effect on it)
But I combined it with something new I learned today
from playing h2h over on twitch . tv /ManuGinobili987 .
I've been running a lot more match than usual this past week.
And to my surprise the hook zone from DE on left of screen will actually match the crossover/crab HB route.
Combined with the slot DB bumping the HB or the HB running into the line the matching hook CAGES the HB.
Then the soft squat will match the corner route.
(Recommend flat zone KO on the outside DB here)
Be careful though as sometimes the matching hook gets stuck in the line.
If that happens you'll need to user the HB route yourself.
And be mindful of any TE posts with your user/SS.
Now this defense SURELY isn't unbeatable either:
♟️Counter Setup:
Any slot fade from the lone side in Bunch with small pass lead will beat almost every match.
Then if you block the HB and navigate left in the pocket with your QB you'll often have time for the fade.
But that's why I don't use match as an every down defense.
I like match as a:
"Let me get them in match bomb mode then I'll be out of match by then" type deal.
Only if they're clueless can you truly "spam money plays" mindlessly.

ANGEL REESE MAKES HISTORY 👏
With her 12th rebound of the night, Angel Reese became the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 900 career rebounds and the fastest player to reach 900+ points and 900+ rebounds, accomplishing both feats in just 71 games.

Breaking: The WNBA and Women's National Basketball Players Association reached a verbal agreement on the terms for a new collective bargaining agreement that for the first time in league history ties its salary system to revenue growth and is expected to offer $1M salaries.
Insane: The average demand for Unrivaled ($165) is nearly double the price to watch a 76ers game ($85) in the same arena.
This league keeps moving up. @unrivaledwbb
@Uu_215 It’s just dumb people man. Only explanation. When me and boys go in with 3 we make a conscious effort to keep everyone involved and getting touches. Sure we can probably do it “by ourselves” but we know everyone is here to play. That buddy ball shit screams immaturity.
Dudes who wanna dribble for 10 seconds and shot hunt in 5v5…why don’t yall just go play ones? 🤨 Yall dudes be so focused on your combos that you miss the wide open man spotted up one pass away. Nothing wrong with getting an iso, but not at the cost of missing open team mates. The goal is to win the game, not show how nice your moves are.

Over the past 24 hours, one topic has stood out—A’ja Wilson’s portfolio—and some of the conversation around it has been confusing to watch.
We’re talking about a player who, in just her second season, was second in jersey sales behind only Elena Delle Donne. A’ja played in the 2019 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, became Mountain Dew’s first WNBA ambassador, and was the first female athlete to sign with Ruffles. Forbes recognized her on their 30 Under 30 sports list in 2020. By late 2022, her first Nike signature shoe was officially announced—and it was only the beginning. She would go on to land more endorsements, grace magazine covers, and appear in commercials, including the 2022 State Farm ad.
But A’ja Wilson isn’t just a marketable athlete. She’s a winner. Her DNA helped put Las Vegas on the map long before anyone started talking about “new awareness.” She led the Aces to their first franchise championship, then helped the city lead the league in attendance in 2023. By 2024, Las Vegas became the first WNBA team to sell out season tickets.
And let’s not forget that her winning ways began at South Carolina, where she claimed a national championship and instantly boosted Gamecock attendance.
Yes, the media hasn’t always done justice to A’ja’s story—and yes, WNBA coverage still struggles as whole—but her rise was unstoppable. She had already won her second WNBA MVP in 2022 and claimed back-to-back championships in 2022 and 2023. Her portfolio, her reach, and her impact weren’t waiting for “new eyes” to appear—they were growing because she earned them.
The idea that this so-called new awareness is responsible for boosting Wilson’s portfolio? Let’s be real. Those new eyes didn’t sell out her highly anticipated signature shoe. They didn’t fill Michelob ULTRA Arena. A majority of those new eyes on social media are actually some of her harshest critics, the same way they are currently treating the other talented athletes the media did not push onto them.
The marketability, the championships, the MVPs, the dominance. These were always A’ja Wilson’s. Fans weren’t going to suddenly notice her because of someone else; they were already following her for a reason. Her merit, her legacy, her accomplishments—that’s what built her. ✨
