@DollWantTweet Recording Engineer here! Different mics like different distances. The U87 (as used in this clip) often sounds more natural around 1 1/2ft away. But these greater distances require an equally greater room to avoid adverse reflections. Mics like the TLM 103 work better closer.

since the cast is starting to get announced, i can now officially say i oversaw the localization of Trails through Daybreak as project manager, a lead editor, & casting director/producer! ๐ the EN cast is absolutely wonderful for this game, and i'm sure you'll love them.
@Hatsuu My opinion is that Pro Tools Intro is good for navigating the basics of how Pro Tools works. But it becomes constraining really fast. I might recommend doing a 30 day free trial instead. That way you can properly explore the software unhindered.
