I just hope, when we do have a government shutdown in two weeks, that the American people understand that the dysfunctional House GOP had months to pass either a budget or CR, took MANY weeks off, did Hunter Biden stuff, impeached Mayorkas, fought with each other & did nothing.
Wow - what a response! ย In just a few hours, over a million views of my announcement video. ย Blown away.
Iโm grateful for all the support from so many across Long Island. ย Because this isnโt just about me. ย Itโs about all of us โ and what itโs going to take to flip this seat and bring about real change for Suffolk County.
Let's keep the momentum going!
BREAKING: Legendary MSNBC anchor Lawrence O'Donnell destroys the Republican smear attacks on Joe Biden's age, says they have "a complete and utter misunderstanding of the work of the presidency."
But it gets even better...
In a fiery new viral segment, O'Donnell dismissed the "notion that Biden is too old" because the job of the president is to "make decisions, not speeches."
"History writes about the decisions," said O'Donnell. "Thatโs what matters. If you have worked in government you know that because speechmaking is the only thing that the news media is allowed to watch" so the media "insists that that must be important."
"It's just like the Super Bowl. You can remember what Patrick Mahomes did on the field but you can't remember a word of his speech and that's for a very good reason. The job is on the field," he went on.
"Everyone who sees Joe Biden doing his job behind closed doors says he is fully capable to do that job and is good at that job โ including former Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy who, though he disagrees with Joe Biden, always thought President Biden was fully capable when he was in the room negotiating with him last year," said O'Donnell.
"Last year when Joe Biden managed to do what seemed impossible and convinced the Republican Speaker of the House to go along with a deal that would prevent the United States of America from defaulting on its debt for the first time in history and violating the debt ceiling," O'Donnell went on. "It looked impossible at the outset but Joe Biden did it."
Well said! Despite the constant attacks from MAGA world and the nonstop lies, Joe Biden's record speaks for itself. The economy is booming, infrastructure is growing, and our rights are secured. He is, by every metric, a historic success.
Four more years!

Mitt Romney: โI think the border is a very important issue for Donald Trump. And the fact that he would communicate to Republican senators and congresspeople that he doesn't want us to solve the border problem because he wants to blame Biden for it is is really appalling."
It looks like Rep. Mike Garcia broke disclosure laws and the STOCK Act when he failed to report his sale of Boeing stock weeks before a committee he sat on released a scathing report about Boeing's 737 MAX airliner.
We filed a complaint.

To the lady who stopped on Christmas Day 11 years ago while I slept in this doorway (across from the West Hotel at Pender & Carrall in the DTES) to give me a Tims coffee, a hug, and 50 bucks โฆ please reach out if you remember me!
I want to THANK YOU. You gave me hope in a very dark time. Today Iโm coming up on 11 years of sobriety. I have never forgotten you, and I do my best to pay it forward โฉ
This year Iโm able to give three people those same things you gave to me.
Merry Christmas to you and to everyone โ especially people who don't have much today. Remember, if you see someone whoโs homeless it doesn't take much to be kind. #MerryChristmas ๐๐ #KindnessMatters
