Hey, remember that Twitter sucks? I do. Just logging in to remind myself that a platform that proclaims to value free speech but strips user freedoms and promotes false algorithms is still terrible. Good job, Elon! 🙌🏻 🙌🏻
Twitter used to have breaking news, but ever since the recent takeover I barely get anything worthwhile. What a shame it lost its competitive edge and usefulness.
Elon proclaiming Twitter is doing well is like a big crowd showing up to the guillotine— there may a huge audience and a lot of activity, but they’re not rooting for you to break free, bud. #RIPTwitter@elonmusk
First tweet in a long while! I hear Twitter usage is at an all time high. Compelled to be a part of the zeitgeist watching an egomaniacal billionaire tanking while he thinks he’s the people’s princess.
@nic6201@wutrain@MBTA I also live on the orange line and am having some major problems with travel. But at least she’s seeing the cluster first hand. Gonna be a long “month”
@nic6201@wutrain@MBTA So you’re saying she takes public transit once per week, and that’s a bad thing? You really think other MA politicians are taking the train that much? I get your comment was meant as an insult, but it got my admiration for her. I like that she took the shuttles & is taking notes.
If you’re against abortion, don’t get one.
If you’re against contraception, don’t take any.
If you’re against same-sex relationships, don’t have one.
If you’re against same-sex marriage, don’t marry someone of same gender.
Do not impose your beliefs & religion on all Americans.
@petersagal Insane and heartbreaking that we’re going back 50 years on something so many women and advocates have fought for. The opposite of progress.
@Damianc17855826@MBTA@MayorWu No, I understand. But the MBTA has been severely underfunded, we’re dealing with reduced schedules during rush hour as it is already due to major staffing and safety problems, and this construction problem for Gov Center has been years and years in the making.
@n0pantsR00tdnce@newenglandpress@MBTA That’s great! But that’s not what they said in their tweet or the picture of the lines out of service with no shuttle access. However, I’m honestly thrilled that’s it’s offered- going to be miserable otherwise
@Damianc17855826@MBTA@MayorWu Genuinely curious- how would you propose the subway system be improved without more money, bigger budgets, and construction (and construction companies) to update unsafe infrastructure?
@Damianc17855826@MBTA@MayorWu I am delighted to share with you that Mayors can propose budget increases for local transportation and improved budgets to ensure better community access, safety, and continuity of service!
@MBTA I know this is not your fault, MBTA communications staff person, and am sorry for all the things you’re clearly going to have to respond to this week.
@newenglandpress@MBTA That sounds great, and appreciate you sharing! But the article you shared says shuttles are only for Green line, not Orange. I recognize there are commuter rails in the area that may work for some. But this has also been a historically bad time period for the T in general.
@MBTA I’m very pro public transportation, but the @mbta is making it SO hard to get anywhere. The other day I was commuting in from Oak Grove, the next train was 42 minutes away. During the day- BEFORE the closures! How are we even a major city? Fix this @MayorWu I believe in you!
@MBTA So the Orange line to the rest of the city is shut off WITHOUT shuttle access!? How are we supposed to get to work? What about people with mobility issues? My commute already doubled this week- I live only 7 miles away and it takes 90 mins to get to work now!
Today’s #orangeline#boston train ride was… interesting, to say the least. Someone seems to have hacked the PA for 7 stops? @MBTA warning: explicit language.
