i love the idea of cat dad shane but as a bunny parent myself, bun dad shane hits different (or maybe this is too niche idk)

bunnies are very sensitive pets that require a specific level of care and understanding i know shane would totally be on top of that

shane bunny proofs his entire house and allows them to roam freely

shane monitors their diet and bowel movements and he buys only quality hay and vegetables

shane is very particular with his exotic vet cause he only trusts real bunny specialists

enter: overbearing but highly competent vet ilya rozanov (who’s tired of people buying and dumping bunnies at his clinic when they realize they’re not ‘easy pets’)

Hollanov go camping and Ilya decides to vlog the whole thing and gets increasingly dramatic as the hours go by. By nightfall of the first night he’s telling everyone he’s not sure if he’s going to make it and please leave all his worldly possessions to Anya, and how this might be his last contact with everyone because there’s no electricity, and Shane has to pause from setting up the campsite and sighs and then hands him a power bank.

so every time shane is "most fertile," ilya gets a notification

and ilya’s convinced this is shane's way of telling him he wants to have his babies

so ilya starts leaving little clues to let shane know he'd be more than happy to start their family together

ilya: shane, i've narrowed down my choices for a house in ottawa. this one has a better view, but this one is in a good school district *stares expectantly*
shane: *wrinkles his nose* obviously the first one. better resale value
ilya: *to himself* of course. shane wants our children to grow up somewhere beautiful

shane is afraid ilya would be hurt by it, but ilya actually finds it adorable

ilya: of course my zayka loves her dada the most, who could blame her? my husband is amazing

ilya: oh, she is truly my daughter! she is also obsessed with shane hollander

when she cries when shane has to leave for an errand, ilya easily comforts her: oh, papa understands, malyshka. we both miss dada when he leaves. but he'll be home soon, and until then we'll take good care of each other
