@HFLane_writing I’m so naive. I never even imagined this existed in our community. I know we have some nuts in our classes. I thought they added a little color to the experience. But for the weird and wicked to put their awfulness upon you? That’s so terrible and I’m proud you’re calling it out.
@thebeavermag It’s why seven years in, I keep up with my writing classes. I cannot write without the people who hold up a mirror to my work. Online, or face to face, I will always grow this way.
@JamesAHogg2 I walked into a house off Orme crescent and sat in a room to be interviewed by the agent who rented her space from Milligan and Sykes. I couldn’t hear her. I was too consumed by the sound of laughter coming from the two old men in the next room.
@thebeavermag I’ve nothing against Submittable. But it’s the lit journals who spam me with their $20 award entries to win. The ones who do not rank, nor raise my readership. Free, or €3, that’s my limit for entry. I find the top 300 tiers mostly don’t go above that.
Is it me or is it me? Last time I paid and won the prize, and received nothing. Nada. Not even a copy of the Ocodillo review (I came first place with). Suggest some care of your winning writers @PressGaia
