I do understand why people argue because they want to defend the character being slandered I just think the conversation will continue to go in circles because these people don’t actually care about nuance or real issues

The people who have decided to hate/villainize Ilya or Shane, are not worth arguing with because they are purposely misunderstanding the characters to fit their narrative. Both went through a lot and both were victims of the league/homophobia/circumstance, that’s the real villain
