Why this is:
The cmo3 file is like liquid gold.
As a rigging artist giving your cmo3 someone can:
- reuse +mass reproduce your work file for other models or their own commissions.
- Mass produce your file and profit off of your work
- Take your techniques and your style
- The credit will become confusing when a model that no longer looks like the original rig is still credited.
Rigging is a technical art form. Most people don’t know the time and personal techniques that are put into models. A lot of big name rigging artists don’t show how reproduce their style because in rigging style is everything and what sets you apart.
If someone gets a cmo3 and literally can reproduce all the rigging artists hard work spent on it. Even to the point of mass selling it on a larger scale or using it for their own commissions- the rigging artist is the only one who gets hurt.
You pay for a cheeseburger at a restaurant but you don’t pay to know the recipe.
AL FIN, publicidad de Steam en el subte. Nos habrá costado la salud y la educación pública, los glaciares, la patagonia, la carne, los feriados y los sábados pero al fin podemos decir que somos del primer mundo
We're coming up on 50 years of Gundam, and it's looking like they're going all in. If you haven't seen a Gundam anime yet, I'm always saying give one a shot, whether it's at the very beginning or just one that looks interesting to you. Every Gundam is somebody's first Gundam!
