@MAGAKITES@factpostnews It builds up in the water pipes while they are closed. When refilling, you need to be careful. I guess they weren't which is why they have to do so much in a hurry.
@simonmontefiore And I thought it was called Andor? The showrunner/screenwriter, Tony Gilroy admitted to taking some ideas from your book. The star, Diego Luna even looks a bit like a young Stalin. I look forward to seeing this version though.
@WarMonitor3 There will be many weapons and soldiers there. A 100% legitimate military target. The Ukrainians probably don't have to launch anything that big, just lots of them and rely on Russian air defence for collateral damage.
@terkzer@Classicbritcom And it amused me how she progressed over the years, later presenting The Money Programme. Some of the viewers of her in the latter probably grew up watching her on the former.

@DrChrisParry Dogs have been in the ME since way before Islam. They are still kept by many in the ME as they are by Muslims in the UK. The Quran says nothing against them but there are interpretations that restrict having a non-working dog as a pet.
@JohnEmerson0111@YesterdaysBrit1 He was attempting to drink the RN under the table. I believe the bar stool is kept in the bar where it happened as a memorial to him.
@industrialpc@greywar777@ChrisO_wiki@steven_pifer There definitely was for strategic weapons in the USSR. The US had shared some of the principles of PALs with the Soviets under McNamara as there was mutual interest in weapon safety.
@petite_michelle There are some proper magazines (earth/concrete) at the NE end of the runway (see google maps). They don't seem to be protected by the serious fences you would expect for nuclear warhead storage.
