The club died months ago. Rugby as a sport at professional level in this country is on its knees.

[Will Kelleher @willgkelleher]

Breaking: Wasps have been booted out of the Championship - where they were supposed to enter next season. RFU have withdrawn their licence after little progress made on recruitment or paying rugby creditors.

They will now have to start at the bottom of the pyramid. @TimesSport

[Hugh Webster @hughwebster2]

Forgive me, for I have sinned.

Please RT 🙏💙

[Hugh Webster @hughwebster2]

@Strongarms12 But where will they play? Tenants at the CBS to whoever buys that side of the business?

[Hugh Webster @hughwebster2]

So many questions to answer.

Where will we play is the the main one for me. If Wasps remain in Coventry with everything that's happened, I can't see us being successful again.

Our main fanbase is still London and the SE. It's time to return to out roots and fill stadiums again.

[Hugh Webster @hughwebster2]

@waspsblog Yup, not really one solution. Doubt we'll be at the CBS though. MK stadium mentioned...

[Hugh Webster @hughwebster2]

@dbberkeley True, but more likely in the south. We'll never be accepted in Cov so what's the point!

[Hugh Webster @hughwebster2]

Temporary of course. Long term we'd need a plan to have our own stadium....

[Hugh Webster @hughwebster2]

On a shoestring budget, will need a groundshare, that's for sure.

Not seen anyone suggest this and there could be a reason, but how about the Madejeski? Good links to London by train and road, not a horrendous journey from Cov for those with appetite.

[Hugh Webster @hughwebster2]

@waspsblog @WaspsRugby No. It's finished. Things would have moved by now.

[Hugh Webster @hughwebster2]

Devastated for the players, staff and us fans to whom the club means so much.

So much to say, so many thoughts and opinions. Who knows what the future holds now for this club but it will look very different that's for sure.

Take it easy and see you on the other side.

[Wasps Rugby @WaspsRugby]

In light of our current financial situation the Men’s team have withdrawn from this Saturday’s fixture against Exeter Chiefs.

[Hugh Webster @hughwebster2]

@denismu30264881 You could claim every try in history is caused by defensive errors? Surely the point is it's a skiill to force/exploit them..

[Hugh Webster @hughwebster2]

Atkinson is a carbon copy prime Cipriani but with better defence. The way he runs, plays flat to the line, puts runners through holes. Special.

[Rugby on TNT Sports @rugbyontnt]

Unreal from Charlie Atkinson & Josh Bassett! 🤯

A special try for @WaspsRugby 🐝

#GallagherPrem

[Hugh Webster @hughwebster2]

@MartynGorse @waspsblog Needs to sort that out! Didn't realise it was that many. 2 points but should have been 5...that and Gloucester games we threw away

[Hugh Webster @hughwebster2]

Restarts lost that game. A relatively simple aspect of the game yet again...so frustrating. #COYW

[Hugh Webster @hughwebster2]

@RobSutton97 Oh I agree. It's not good enough, own worst enemies with the restarts as well.

[Hugh Webster @hughwebster2]

Wasps look good though. Controversial, but structually in attack they are miles better than last year, mostly lead by Atkinson who was bloody pheneomenal.

[Hugh Webster @hughwebster2]

Except for Fisilau and Hartley, another average display....Wasps just don't do second halves do they. #COYW

[Hugh Webster @hughwebster2]

Ok. I'm getting drunk and missing ever Wasps game from now on. Cheers.
